Caltrac help!

So i drove my brothers 10 today and he has been complaining how noise and clunky the caltracs are. After driving it I am with him. We did not install them came on the truck. My ? Is can they be adjusted or is it pretty normal to be squeaky and such. Thanks for the help

They are adjustable. they are probably to loose. try to tighten them the same. maybe 1 full turn of the nut from loose. the front bracket pivots from the main leaf spring bolt and rides on the top of the leaf spring . applying length at the bar transfers pressure to the top of the spring. The squeak is from the bracket rubbing the side of the leaf spring. Alittle oil or WD 40 should quiet it up >

cut a small piece of poly bmx, put it between the spring and the cross bolt, epoxy it in, that will take care of the noise
