I highly reccomend These traction bars. The truck Just hooks without a sweat
Now you don't have to be afraid to challenge anybody from a dig.

I went to there shop and they installed my set. He said at the time that he uses a piece of heather hose the size of the bar, and slips it on and keeps the metal from coming in contact with each other.
Mike (nowwhat) had it done to his Q/C, they even cut his bars, so there perfect.
He had me set in the seat of the Truck, and pre-loaded the bar to my weight, pretty cool.

And for the REST of YOU :star: :D :D

I'm wondering how they affect the twisty road too. I've got too much weight added to really drag race well, but I do love them back roads. If it has no negative effect I'll still get em when the time comes

so you can adjust these bars? any tips on how to adjust these for my rc

Hey Stick ,

what I have seen is they have the driver sit in the truck to preload them:dontknow:

Nice pics Jerry. Best I have seen yet. They do look quite low.........reducing your ground clearence by a few inches. Any problems going over speed bumps etc...?

Finding a install shop on Maui whom can install properly?????? The very difficult part!!!

There is a Preload setting when your can turn it 1/4 or half turn. Call Calvert and ask for keith and he is the guru.

will they make a difference on a QC? :dontknow: :dontknow:
big difference, went from a 8.83 to a 8.60 in the 1/8 miles a month ago. could have gotten more out of it but the track started cooling down. it bogged a little.
