264 cam that is im thinking on going with this one .
this is same cam Bone runs in his truck.

Here's what I used;)

Kyle how was the idle on the 270 ,,,im looking at the 264 cause i rode in Bones truck and idle was smooth ,,,also were you running the S/C on that cam ,,,
Taliban dan and bone are getting me set up to get heads ported and polished and a set of stronger springs a a three angle grind on my valve seats on the heads i got from you
Eddie no it is not the mopar coupe cam ,but is close to it with better mid to top end ,,,according to comp cam tech it will add 25 to 30 hp ,head porting job and setup will be just like bones witch gave him 80 hp so i am hoping for at least a 110 to 120 hp gain on a N/A ,,throw in a vary small shot of giggle gas for another 75 from fatjacks old nos set,,:pshould get me around 550 hp N/A

Mine definatly had an off idle to it:D Even more so with the SC'r. I loved it especially when it was cool outside,it thumped pretty good:rock:

i have the mopar performance cam installed in my truck

same here -

Mopar Performance Dodge Ram SRT10 Viper Competition Camshaft 8.3L V10

Cam Lift: 0.320" Intake and 0.320" Exhaust
Duration at 0.050": 220.00" Intake/230.5" Exhaust

Do you have the specs for the 264?

This is the comp cam I am running:

Gross lift Intake .528 Exhaust .536
Duration Intake 218 Exhaust 224
Lobe lift .330 and .335 with seperation of 114

charles hold a sec and I will get it

so do either the 264 or 270 comp cams require bigger valve spring....or can you use these 2 cams with stock heads?

i was told that the 264 is plug and play and the 270 you needed to upgrade thats one reason i went with the 264

This cam is the same as mine. Correct me if I'm wrong Charles:dontknow: There's a picture of the cam card on this thread;)

whats the benefit of those cams ? :dontknow:

what i read for my 928 is that the most "racy" cams give a 20 HP gain... :( ... and also a difficult high rev'n idle...
