my 2000 camaro is acting up however i currently have v6 in it i been thinking of putting an ls1 in, is it possible will it fit right in

i dont see why not, you will probably need a different trans, and engine mounts, wiring for the v8 and fuel pump

yea it will fit in - but not worth it with all the used v8 2000 camaros. In addition to different trans, and engine mounts, wiring for the v8 and fuel pump - you probably need a tranny crossmember, heavier springs upfront..its kind of a pita

Not impossible at all!

People do this daily and it's not that big of a deal. Check out LS1tech.com for info. Do a search on v-6/v8 swaps. I have alot of what you'lll need as well. LS1 crossmember, fuel tank and pump, complete fuel line set, quite a few other things I can't think of right now.

If it helps you i got a boy that knows those cars inside and out if you have any questions
