Anyone think these camera mounts will work on the vertical back glass of our truck and allow the camera to be horizontal for a road track day?

Yes, it will work. I had one on the back window of my truck while road racing last year (the second one you've listed). Well, just make sure you tighten it down...mine would eventually drift over and look at me in the higher g portions of the road course.

In fact, I dont need it anymore. I also have a color monitor that I hooked up to it so I could see what the viewfinder was looking at (you cant look through it on your camera cause the back window is in the way). Bought the color monitor from one of our vendors last year. If you're interested I'll sell them to ya for a good price. The monitor also has a remote and the wiring needed.
