Camping

Does anyone here like camping?

We are going to meet up with a friend of mine and his wife at a camp site this weekend. Personally my idea of camping is Holiday Inn, but my honey loves camping and has talked me into trying it again (funny how women can do that ).

The last time I slept in a tent in rained so bad Noah started building another ark. Needless to say I hope this weekend goes better.

I like to camp too,with my kids. Wife wont go, she likes camp Hilton. right now It's to hot to camp down here, have to wait till October.

Anytime you have to bring ice you're roughing it. If you have a fridge, that ain't roughing it...LOL!

me and you both. we are heading to the lake the week of the 4th of july. a few couples are staying in tents but i like sleeping in the AC. hell its 98 with 100% humidity today and its not even july or august yet. cant even get out of the shower without breaking into a sweat. it was still 91 last night at 730pm

With Sat TV and cold A/C and soundproof walls so I don't have to listen to the neighbors.

Scratch that.......4 star hotel with valet parking, baggage handlers and a good restaurant or room service.:rock:

I used to camp every weekend in the summer.... I wouldn't really call it "roughing it" tho. I had a 4 room cabin tent with a screened-in porch on the front. Also, had a queen sized air mattress and lots of pillows and blankets. It looked like a Persian Palace in there. (Smelled like one too. :smokin: LOL)
