Hey guys How Much Hp will a Camshaft give me and How Much will it improve in my Elapsed time. Is worth geting?

Right Now Stage 2 Flash, K And N, 170 Thermo. I'm going to get Borla Catback with highflows in May. Mine is a 06 QC with 2900 miles
I think the cam gives in the area of 20 hp to the rear wheels, but not sure with the automatic.
but you also will need more exhaust to let the cam breath, some sort of headers and best no cats.
but deleting the cats is tons cheaper and will give you the same gains.
also look at where you plan to go with it down the road, whether it be forced induction or kept naturally asperated.

Are you saying get rid of allof the cats period? I live in California So I don't think I can do that beacause of strict emissions. So how much Will I Improve with Borla Catback In the 1/4 mile. Forget the cam If I'm going to get the same performance
cat back will give you approximatly 7-10hp minimal on the 1/4 mile time
but with that and the cat delete you could gain 30 or more hp witch would help in the 1/4 mile
alot of cali guys have taken the cats apart and then rewelded them back up so it would pass visual inspection.
I think outnumbered is running a cai, no cats, a flash, and a magnaflow and ran a 12.98 with low fuel and a cold night
My wifes QC with a flash , headers , no cats, magnaflow, makes 478hp to the ground and ran a 13.02 but that was with a full tank and a tool box mounted in the bed and the spare tire still on.
so basically do the cai, cut the cats, do the borla, take off the spare, and tailgate, anything else to cut weight, low fuel and all, and it hould run low 13's to high 12's

wow 30 hp with no cats!!! The cats delete aren't going to mess up Oxygen sensors, Throw Check Engine lights, Or Anything thats going to harm the exhaust system in anyway?? wow I will be in the 12.6 to 12.9 range if i have good weather than. I have already beat a w6 trans am and he's claiming he runs 13.3 with just exhaust. we raced at from a dig and I managed to get a good hole shot. Remember I have K and N, and I run 100 octane with 80 hp program flash. Thanks a lot I will have to delete the cats than oh well!!

Maybe in Sacramento but the cold weather is already gone....
Lastly...that 80 hp is not peak....
