Can anyone help me pick a cam?

Plans for the truck are pretty good driveability yet, rowdy idle.

Truck will have o/r pipes, catback, cai, spray (probably 100 shot only) stock untouched heads (dont' have the cashflow for a nice set) and tuning. Any good choices for a cam?

I would call Comp Cams help line and tell them what you want. They have 2 off the shelf cams available. They will grind whatever you want. I used their master lobe catalog and along with the guy that built my heads we picked an intake lobe profile and then an exhaust lobe profile and they special ground one for my Coronet. It does EXACTLY what we wanted.

Another option is to contact Joe at PBJ in St. Louis...he is a grinder and has some pretty good successes under his belt.
