Is there an easy way to just turn the VEC off and let the PCM do the timing? Can I only turn on METH and have timing done by the PCM? Why, I will tell you why. I'm thinking of going with a SCT for the tuning for my STS. My meth is a Roe meth kit which is triggered by the VEC. So I would like to go with the SCT for tuning and just leave the VEC for the meth. It just seems like it would be a pain in the ass to remove the VEC since it is hardwired into the PCM. So can I have the VEC only do the meth?
