Can you lower just the rear end of a QC and not the front?..:dontknow: ..or will that screw things up?..
...I am going to lower but I like where the front sits now.....still can go over those parking bumpers with no problem.

You know what Walt, I would love to do the exact same thing. I couldn't even think about making it up my driveway with the front lowered, but that rear sure would look better with a couple of inches of drop.K-80-123 said:Can you lower just the rear end of a QC and not the front?..:dontknow: ..or will that screw things up?.....I am going to lower but I like where the front sits now.....still can go over those parking bumpers with no problem.

drcraig said:No. It would probably raise it higher. The RC springs are a better spring. You have to flip the springs under the axle to lower it and boomer makes the best kit for that.
greatone61 said:Oh I always thought the RC had a lower ride height in the rear. Dammit! There goes my way out.
drcraig said:They do have a lower ride height while stock, but the RC comes with the springs under the axle and the QC comes with the springs on the top of the axle.
mopower1958 said:They make shackles to lower the rear. Check on Hemitruckclub.com for info. Probably do a search. Aim Industries sells a lot of shackles. I have lowered some Ford F 350's just in the rear.
