Unfortunately I can not.

The hose attached to it went missing after my last dealership incident. I freaked when i noticed it.

I'm not a mechanic but I know what the pump is... I just don't know what this nozzle is or why its missing it's tube.

Though this probably explains my very minor coolant leak, I hope.

Summation:
1. What is this thing's job?
2. Where's the other end?
3. Where should I check for damage?

yes. air bleeder. it air gets trapped behind the thermostat you can use that to bleed it out.

The last couple of times I've had to completely refill an SRT-10 cooling system, I attached a hose and funnel to that valve and filled the system as much as possible through it, then topped off through the rad. Never had to burp or bleed either system.
