Has anyone installed a Carbon Fiber Driveshaft?

I wouldn't trust one on the street. One rock or other road debris and the fiber weave starts to unravel - no thanks.

Nissan 350Z's come with them from the factory. :dontknow: But if you got a cheap one that wasn't made real well.......:nurse:

there are ones for evos but they retail for over 2k , the ram driveshaft is twice as big

They are great people....and is where I have all my parts cryo'd.
They can make them...we did talk about it ..... I have not had them go that far with it. I can pursue it if there is enough interest...and/or get you a $$ on it.

They made a CF drive shaft for my 2004 F150 after I slammed it :rock: great quality and i believe it was around $1200.00.

I had one on my 2000 Firehawk, 6 speed. I put about 200 miles on the street then during a dyno pull @ 6,500 rpm it shattered into a thousand pieces!!! Horrible noise but no other damage. I was about 400RWHP at the time. I will never trust one again!!!

FYI $849.00... lifetime warranty... (slightly more if you upgrade u-joints and slip yolk)... instead of using the OEM ones.
