carbon fiber front clip

Hey guys, somtime back a member posted that he was building a new front clip for his truck. It was either carbon fiber or fiberglass. It even had pics of his truck pulled apart.
Has anyone heard more about this and if so how did it turn out?
How much weight did it save?
