carbon fiber hood

Looking to get a carbon fiber hood, I love the look and I think it would be a very big change to the exterior on my 10, does anyone not suggest getting one? Will I really need hood pins?

Search for threads by venompower he bought one and had part of it painted, then left part carbon, looked pretty slick. Used the hood latch with no problem but the factory hood struts were too strong and would bow the hood up when it was closed. Think he just left them UN hooked and used a prop rod

Me 2, I know VIS makes one...I just think this might be pretty bad ass on my inferno red 10

Yea I did see that thread, and was pretty impressed...I'm looking for leavin it all carbon fiber..I'm need be just detach the hood struts and I'm assuming just use them as a prop rod when needed ya know
