I have a few square yards of some Hexis 3d carbon fiber wrap. Was toying with the idea of wrapping my rear view mirrors, maybe some underhood items, and around the dash. Wanting to practice and see what it looked like before i started i wrapped an grill emblem. Not sure if i like it. Give me your opinions. They matter.... dont want to do anything stupid.

Im debadged and think it may go good with the sleeper murdered out theme.

I think it looks clean, would love to see in person.

Just my 2 cents, I think the emblem would look better with the viber emblem or something cut out or layed over the carbon, but it looks good. As for the mirrors, I think that would look crazy great on your black truck. A little here, and there would be great on that truck.

I like to do things myself if i can do it right and it looks like you like you know what you are doing. Looks good Jeff.

Man show me a pic of them mirrors, I would love something like that.

If your second guessing yourself i will put them on my truck and give u my stock parts:D

This was a bitch. I job and a half just getting the bezel out of the truck and taking all the switches out of it. Then wrapping it took about an hour of heating and contouring. The results werent as good as the shifter console. The complex contour around the silver part of the bezel made for a pain in the ass. I had to heat and stretch, cool, reheat stretch and cool. As a result the lines in the carbon fiber curve a little in a way that real carbon wouldnt. No bubbles, no tears, but im afraid than when it gets hot, or get some age it will try to shrink and detach from the corners. We will see.

Excuse the Nightrunner badge, it will be reapplied when i get some glue.

The moulding on the back glass looked oxidized as hell. I rubbed it down with alchohol to remove most of it, and tried to polish it, and treat it but it didnt look any better. So i wrapped it. If it doesnt work... next month i will wet sand, and spray it.
