Yeah the rear doors are suicide doors. I think they say it's easier for the cops to get the criminals in and out of the car. The back seats are designed to accept a handcuffed person. The front seats are designed for the cops wearing their duty belts etc.

From what I could tell, it is built from the ground up by the Carbon Motors company. I'm not sure if the motor is built in house or for them by someone else. All the lights are integrated into the vehicle so that they aren't sticking out. Helps increase the coefficient of drag and therefore gas mileage.

They may be targeting city or county police. Maybe the Chargers will still be the choice for Highway Patrol etc.

The cab portion of it kind of reminds me of the crystler 300, the wheels too.

PERFORMANCE
0 - 60 mph 6.5 seconds
Quarter Mile 14.5 seconds @ 98.0 mph
Top Speed 155 mph
Braking 60 - 0 mph 125 feet
Lateral Acceleration 0.85 g
Combined City/Hwy Fuel Economy 28 - 30 mpg
Maybe this is wrong for me to say , but at least we can out run them :) That is on a short run . Long distance they would catch us at the gas pump or on the side of the road.

Most everyone is going to the V6 or R/T Chargers or the V8 Impalas since the Crown Vics aren't being made anymore. Our department is getting V6 Chargers.
