i have it like that and its ok. Its loud but i have alot of resonance that gets annoying..

I have that exhaust setup and I must say I like the sound of the Mopar/Borla a little better

here is some pics of it, a previous owner did all of the custom 80's nostalgia work like the interior and paint/graphics, i've pulled the 440 727 out and now the body is sold to another guy who will be putting in a blown 383 chevy and a 4 gear....

If you don't mind a lot of snap crackle and pop and a whole lot of drone between 3-4 thousand rpm then you will be good to go.
I got really tired of the drone and switched to a Borla catback it was the perfect solution for me:D .
Some have used an x or h pipe (cross-over) infront of the magnaflow muffler and that has helped.

this is actually a hard decision to make as for an exhaust, i'm looking more for a quieter sounding exhaust at an idle just because i don't like how these engines sound when they are idling. also i want to run true duals instead of one muffler....

cool thanks for the pics. So it had a mopar 440 in there? thats crazy. I kind of like the 70's-80s themed muscle cars. Its gonna turn into the next big thing since the boyd coddington billet era and now that the whole rat rod thing is dwindling

:D That's my set-up  Sounds GREAT!
Wouldn't change it for anything else that's out-there.
And there is NO drone in your six-speed, when she hits an rpm you don't like...SHIFT, no drone ever......I've been this way for over three years and NO problems. :congrats:

A Q/C is different :marchmellow:
