I dont really know all about the catch cans, What do they do, I was going to order it off jbm's site, and the roe breather. Are these the same? or can you use both. Pros and cons please, Thanks guys

the catch can is to help keep the oil vapors from blowin all over the place when ya take the crankcase breather system from the intake.

it has been found that the oil that gets sucked into the intake can cause detonation. which is a bad thang

Use one or the other not both....but you should know that with either one crankcase vapors will be dumping out under the hood and you may smell it in the cab..

Well to you which one is the best one to get? I was looking at the roe for awhile now, Intill I bought my hard rad pipe and seen it on the site.

i run both Roe breather & Justin's catch can.

have not noticed any probs

If you driver your truck hard I would buy Justins. Oil can puke out of the filter. With the Roe it would get all over the engine. Get Justins catch can and CAI. The catch can mounts in the box so no mess on the engine. And it looks and sounds cool.

I didnt mean you couldnt..I would just run both sides thru the catch can if I had it....which I did when I had the can....wont hurt anything using both......Before I installed the can I had the Roe breather and had problems with oil dripping off the filter onto the valve cover after a WOT run....changed to the can but have since removed it........

I have the K&N box will it mount inside of that?

if the hose that comes with it & there is room in the K&N box, yep:rock:

I have a breather that I bought from pep boys. I have not noticed any oil problems or drippings or smells. Maybe I should take off and look on the inside but the filter is still red with no discoloration.

I think this may be more of a FI engine issue...
