Catch Can Question

Will a catch can help with the slight smell of oil under hard acceleration and engine braking?

Checked my plugs and they are perfect after 12k miles, so i dont think im burning any from wear and tear, but on a recent video i saw of myself, there was a very faint cloud at WOT. Couldnt tell the color, but when i have my cutouts open and the back glass open to enjoy the sound, i smell a little oil burn when im on it hard.

l kind of doubt it... l have a can setup on mine just to the driver's side of radiator, but it is vented with a breather, and l still get the same smell. Mine is more of an evac setup though. Maybe you're talking of something else? l don't get any oil in there, just some condensation that l empty out every couple of weeks, but upon startup, l see a little cloud come out of that breather if hood is up, and that is the source of my oil smell. More or a raw oil smell than a burning oil..
