I will be installing a catch in spring when I do coils and wires my ?? is do I connect the 2 hoses off the valve covers to a t-fitting and then 1 hose to the can?? Then I guess I would plug the TB and intake ports? Mine is an 04. Any help and/or pics of this routing would be great:rock:Thanks as usual.....

Mine runs from the drivers valve cover under the intake mani to the passenger side valve cover where they T together and run one hose to the can.
The port under the TB gets plugged with a rubber cap and zip-tie to hold it on.

Got my catch can yesterday, anyone used one of these before?
My plan was to connect each valvecover seperately, im just curious if this catch can will work.

Looks like it will work fine to me.

The one I'm getting is by Moroso with a filter/vent on top with a 6AN inlet fitting. Figure I'll use some real braided hose with the 6AN fitting on the end and then T to the 2 valve cover hoses, probably get a ROE valve cover breather/oil fill cap too.

Is this canister vented to atmosphere? If so your plan works, but if not it doesn't.

What he said, if it is not vented it will push oil out of anywhere it can because the crankcase pressure will have no where to go.

What is the size of the hoses from the valve covers, 3/8 or 1/2id?? Want to make sure that a 6AN is OK or if I should get a 8AN inlet... Thanks.

Thats what i tought, going to make vent on it then. Good thing I asked ^^

Btw, I have the cranck breather from roeracing. Using a cranck breather with a catch can, will that reduce the effect of the catch can?

What do the two ports do once they enter inside the can? Do they just enter inside or do they have piping that extends them, or.......?

What about connecting the the two valve covers to one side of the catch can and the other side to the intake and use the vacuum to clearout the valve covers?

You can do that, but to me that's not the best option unless you need to for emissions purposes.

There is some piping but... should hardly count :| I think it does the jobb tho.

What is the benefit of a catch can and what problem will I encounter if not installing one?

**Asking for a friend** :)
