Im worried about what is being collected by my catch can. The oil in it is milky and mixed with what looks like water. There is no coolant in it so I hope it isn't a head gasket problem. There is no water or sludge in the oil (as far as I can tell from the dip stick and the truck runs fine. I installed the JMB catch can and intake recently and have found the same thing both times I have emptied the catch can. Should I be worried? Thanks.

Water from condensation would be my guess...Make sure you look at the oil closely next time you change it and keep an eye on the coolant level.

Thats usually what the cans do, I've seen it often with the Hemi's....

Looks similar to the crap I get out of my catch cans.

Thank you!! It is hard to believe that so much crap had been being sucked back into the engine.

Water is a product of combustion. any blowby that is directed to the catch can will have water and oil mixed with some unburned hydrocarbon that will make a sludge that is normal in your catchcan.
