for my first mod i want catless mids. do i NEED to remove the 02 sensors or can i leave them hang in the air?

if i remove them is the a place i can buy the sims for less then $160?

you will have to try the hangin O2's. seems like it works for some & throws codes for others

yup! tying them up out of the way works for some and others have to get sims from roe racing.

The solution for me has been to add the sims to the end of the sensors and then strap the sensors to the frame. The sims keep the water off the sims, and other gunk.

Comments like that will lead to verbal abuse up to and including demotion from current title of "Captain Fun Bucks" to all out ban. Consider this a verbal warning...;)

i am liberal and cheap. hence i did not overpay for my truck, but i did indeed buy it. so i will get them, but i want them cheap.

Then you are hereby demoted to that of peasant...just like the rest of us.

What I do is weld two bungs to the existing cat bungs (double bung)This keeps the sensors out of the main stream and no lights or codes(price of adding two bungs to existing cat bungs-aprox.$20.00 :D
I have never had a problem with this:burnout:

glad it works for you too & it only costs ~$12.00.... ;) :D :marchmellow:

Thank you moparracing for the idea as well!! I took a little different approach, so I can pass inspection. Gutted front cats, deleted rear cats, and the anti-foulers are working great.

there are two sets of cat on these trucks?
Yes,
There are left and right bank o2s at the manifolds (for fuel management) and two down stream for catalyst monitering.(don't mess with the front ones).
