Im curious (and ignorant apparently) but i was wondering if these "mid-pipes" and "catless mid's" are something special in the way they're bent or type of metal they're made of or can i go to a welding shop and get them to weld me in some straight pipe where the cat's used to be and still pick up the xtra hp. Also, what can i do to keep the light from burning on the dash once the cats are removed? Sorry for the stupid question and thanks for the input in advance.

Check engine light on mine isn't on after removing all cats. Just zip tied secondary O2's to frame.

Several people have done this with similar results. You won't be disappointed if you remove the cats.

Thanks guys, from what I can figure, that sounds like the best/easiest mod for these trucks (for the money anyway)

are you saying that the O2 sensors are still connected wiring wise but you just zip tied them to the frame to keep them from dangling, i know it seems like a stupid question this i know im just curious, maybe a picture so i can have a visual

spark plug non fouler... google it. I think its better than leaving them hanging out. Plus your easily busted if there not at least screwed into something.
