happy holidays everyone

I'v always thought about putting one on the back side of the console so it's out of the way ........it's out of the way so when you get ya some of them "purdy doves" in yur truck you got room to work with

i have a back seat for that:D :D :D :p ;)

He moved back to maine so getting a pic would be rather difficult. He worked in a metal shop and made a mount that hooked directly to the bolt holes, it looked really professional.

You might be able to buy a mount too, if your not good at metalworking. I know im not.

If I were to put a CB into the truck it would be one of these and mount the base behind the seat. I would use one of those signal combiners and use the stock antenna so that there aren't any additional one's sticking off the truck. Throw the hand held unit behind the seat and nobody knows you have one.

i like the all in one sets, parents subrised me with the http://claysradioshop.com/cobra29wxnwst.htm from a guy locally really cheap

and was gunna do 2-5' firesticantennas in the front stake holes for the range.....should see bout a 25-30 mile range with this set up

if you read the description, you still need a cb antenna to use it "If you only want one antenna, then the only wise choice is to use a CB antenna and the FireStik AR1A Match Maker"

Yeah, Your suppose to use a CB antenna for best performance but I just could not bring myself to mounting dual antennas on my truck. To me it just doesn't go with the sport truck look. Now on my '94 Dodge 4x4 I'd have no problem doing that. Just not on the "10". But different strokes for different folks.
