I've got an RB4 installed, yesterday the wife inserted a CD and manually pushed the thing into the radio all the way. Issue, there was already a CD in the radio. Does anyone have an idea on how to get it out without taking it into the dealer or tearing it out?

did you try a paper clip to eject it ?

or - remove the dash plate - 1 screw then 4 screws to remove the radio - remove the under side of the radio - then slide out the disk - you prob will nto be able to save the disk tho

good luck

I was thionking an exacto wit htape on it, to try to get hold of it then try to pull it out, but CD's are cheap,m just have to burn a new on if that's what it takes.

yea - takin the radio apart is ez... :D :elefant: :elefant: :elefant: :elefant: :elefant:

Guess I'm gonna have to take the SOB out and take it apart, I tried everything I could think of to get that CD out, NADA.

Yea, I can see it, brand new JL AMPs & speakers with a nice high end Kenwood head unit. My wallet can't see it, but I can.

Well, I was able to get the CD's out of my unit without pulling erverything apart. But me thinks the CD is dead on arrival. Put it in CD mode and it displays that it's on track 01 and there is nothing in it. Also won't pull a CD into the unit.

So, for now, guess I'll take it over to the dealer, lucky it's still under warrenty.
