ok with the centerforce clutch can i get by with staying with the stock slave cylinder for a while until i can get the money up?... here my problem my stock one is toast like way burnt up.... my truck just got droped off at ART to have the motor installed......will it be ok to break it in like that?

from what i've heard, no...justin's the one that pushed me over the edge...but maybe that's because i didn't feel like he wanted to screw me...

ummmm...not that way....

waitin on my taxes justin...BTW

thing is the motor is going in and i have no clutch do i go back with the stock one or what? does anybody know?

i would just do it all at once....plus he's got a great price on the whole kit with the upgrades...if the motor's out, i don't see why now isn't the perfect time, anyways...or is it strictly cost?

Cost.. i've ran out of money lol until about 2 weeks from next week will it be ok for a few weeks hahaha

meaning...does it slip

i'm still running mine, albeit VERY gently...it slipped ONCE about 3 months ago racing a modded ss, and i've been babying til i can save up some loot....

from what i hear, it'll blow out the factory hydros...now, i don't know when, but why do stuff twice...the only extra is the slave/master...you still have to resurface, and R&R...

i know how you feel...

if it's not slipping during normal driving, i'd leave it for now...but that's gonna be hard to do for sure...and the new motor in there, too...

i guess i just wouldn't trust a new CF...specially because it's apparently too much for the rest of the factory system...

maybe you could buy a stock clutch for now, then do the whole kit later, or even a used stock clutch???

In the short run you could get by until the plastic starts to give way on the stock slave. Just drive easy until you buy the upgraded slave and you should be fine.

jsut dont beat on the clutch by speed shifting or dropping the clutch really hard;)

yeah, like thats gonna happen:argh:

to me, i'd rather not have to open it all back up later (you will have to).... you can get away with the stock clutch & flywheel new (preference call), but you've got to upgrade those hydraulics - do them now.:)
