Called up Centerforce and placed the order today, hoping to have it installed by Friday. Can't wait, the hardest part is going to be the 500 mile break in period :damnmate:

Well be patient. You need to break that puppy in properly. Dont wanna waste all that money now do you? !!

You will be very happy when you do your first full throttle first to second shift!!!

Five hundred city traffic miles...then never worry about clutch again...a small price to pay. Be sure you do the Viper Slave and Master Cyl, mod at the same time, if you haven't already.

I did the Fidanza Lightweight Flywheel too...just to have a new surface for the clutch to mate with...

Have fun (after 500)!

this was my first mod w/ the truck....i bought it and beat if for 2 days and the clutch was gone! popped in the centerforce/fidenza combo and I've got 13k hard miles lots of dragging and it still feels new! the 500 break in is a bitch....you will be offering to drive anyone anywhere!

Make sure you upgrade to the Viper slave and master cylinder. I think the Centerforce is to stiff for the stock plastic one.

I'll have to upgrade to the Viper unit. I'm soooo pissed off right now at the dealer
I was able to get the clutch in time from AZ and they couldn't get me the flywheel intime, someone screwed up the part number. My OE flywheel was trashed, hot spotted so they had to order a new one. Should have arrived on Thurs am so I could have driven it down to Richmond today and back, would have been a nice 300+/- mile trip but once again they screwed up
Now I have to wait till Tuesday to pick it up, it will have the Centerforce installed, new Flywheel and Long tubes. Can't wait, gonna have to run around town for 500 miles hehehe. Keep everyone posted.

Definitely. The plastic slave is a complete POS anyway compared to the Viper part. Looking at the two side by side you have to wonder what the f*ck DC was thinking putting that piece in this truck. My first one failed by 8k miles.
