The infection spread into the blood stream. Now they are thinking it may be in the bone. They are doing a MRI to check that out.

The infection has spread to his bloodstream, if it isn't caught in time and taken care of it IS fatal. They are concerned that the infection may have spread to a bone in his foot. That means IV Home infusion.....IV antibiotics at home for up to 6 weeks.
