Has anyone explained to Mikey that "Sickness" is supposed to refer to his mental condition, not his physical condition? :dontknow:

Get the F*!ck out of the hospital so you can take care of your family and try to become as close to a productive member of society as you are capable of! And leave the cats alone, that's probably where you got the cellulitis from !

ANOTHER UPDATE ON MIKE

Good news is the line went in without any problems. BAD news he MAY have to stay in the hospital for the whole therapy...4-6 weeks. Our current insurance ends 11/30/06, the new insurance begins 12/01/06 BUT the new insurance MAY consider his illness a pre-existing condition and won't cover it. If he stays in the hospital for the therapy than it would be covered.

Not sure what is going to happen yet. We are going to apply for state aid and maybe some charity programs if we are eligible....otherwise.....He will be there for a while. He spoke with his employer today and they want a weekly update on his condition...so thats GOOD.

PLEASE keep his employer name quiet...we have already experienced some "problems" ......can't handle any more.

Hope you all will keep praying.WE NEED IT.

Sure hope he gets to come home soon, this is not a good time of year to be stuck in a hospital. We will keep him in our thoughts and prayers.

My heart broke today when I talked to Mikey...as you all knew I've been following this through nd I was really hoping to see the big guy (outside of the Hospital) again!!!

On the up side, I would rather him get healthy vs. the alternative...I have an idea but I'm not sure if it's fair to all of you guyz or not...But I feel like maybe we can work it out as a family....

This is the idea....If we could get EVERYONE to donate 10 bucks to maybe a trustworthy person (i.e. a treasurer) and then donate money that way, maybe we could make sure this X-mas season would be a little less painfull for those that aren't soing as well this time of year. Like I said, I'm not sure if this is legal or even feasible, so I'm looking for some input on this! Guyz, I know this thread is dedicated to Mikey and his family, but this could work for everyone on this forum...And possibly even help keep the forum costs down....I dunno, I'm just miserable and frustrated!!!

I love the Sickness family....I know I hardly know them but I feel an obligation to them, Phil, OCBOB, FlyingLow and soo many others and I wish I could do soo much more than I can....Please Help Folks!!! Give me some ideas to put this into a realistic idea!!!! And on a side note, I love you Wifey and sorry for your loss....I'm here for all of you guyz! I know I just post dumbass statements to be goofy, but there is a soft side to this weirdo....

Will share what we can and hope everyone else can do the same. The Sickness family has been through hell this year and next year needs to be better FO SHO :rock:

My gramma died the day before Thanksgiving. She was 97 and wanting it bad! We are happy she is in a better place and I know she is! She was still smoking a pack a day and cussing up a storm - I hope I can be just like her :star: :dancing:
