I just noticed one of the hood bump stops has broken and just flops back and forth . Cheap ask plastic . Does anyone have a better option to replace them both with something better .. never in my life have I seen so many simple arts and even larger art just break by themselves..

Maybe a list or of the cheap parts from dodge should be listed with pics ….

Dash cover and light door switch bezel , verhead console light switch , hood scoop insert to show a few ! IMG_0963.jpegIMG_0750.jpegIMG_0954.jpegIMG_7799.jpegIMG_7803.jpeg

Just in the last week several truck pic posted on here have what appears to be a replaced hood scoop insert that are not color matched to the factory paint ..

Beaware f the 4 plastic studs and retaining hood insert .. they break and the insert can and will fly away .. Mine hit the windshield so hard and broke into many pieces , load as hell .. I thought I hit a bird and when I got home I saw a huge hole in the hood where the insert use to be … in the pic above with a rubber ad make shift and 2 sided tape to keep the rain out . I priced the inserts and everyone want at least $300 .. screw that for a cheap piece f plastic that will break again .. Finally they did become available after market on Amazon and EBay for dirt cheap $30 range .. looked like factory so I bought one ( installed in the pic above ) .. Fixed and way more than satisfied.. and f course the studs are still plastic and may end up breaking again .. But for the price I can buy many more lol . The new one painted before installed with spray paint lol ! IMG_7797.jpeg

If I remember right even my 68 Valiant had gobs of cheesy plastic parts that broke often. But the engine and those parts always ran well and was super reliable. I guess that's the important part lol

the Dakota plastic parking brake release ( never used ) the Glove comprment open handle ( rarely used ) and the console cover totally broken plastic inside the cushion .. every damn part to replace is rediculous price ,,even used for cheap ask plastic.
