check engine light and Code Readers

welp I headed to the dragstrip and almost made it there before the checkengine light came on. I checked the gauges, fluids, everything looked fine. so I parked the beast and I'm on my way to buy a reader to see what the hell is going on. I'm going to take it back to my installer tomorrow. Then after we get s the code taken care of I'm going to give PBJ a call and see if I can get in for a precise tune maybe next Friday. Anyone got any favorite readers?

You dont need a reader. All you need to do is do a key trick. Turn a key from off to on but dont start the engine. Do it three time then the code will show in the odometers.

Okay it came back with Codes P0420 and P0432. Anyone know what these bad boys mean?

Thanks Dave and Tyler, So, Im getting the catalytic converter efficiency thing. I am assuming this is no big deal. Is there any potential problems from these? Solutions? (I am relieved this is all it is) WOOT!
Going to print out these codes. This is very handy stuff. Might want to sticky it.
