hey guys. im a firefighter in canada and drive a supercharged 4x4 silverado with 430 and 470 to the wheels. i know thats now to high for you guys but i love horsepower and thought id check out. love the look of your trucks and the awsome power you get to start with. hope to take part in your discussions and through in my other point of view.

cheers
chris

Well, Well, Welcome and keep in mind nothing in terms of horsepower is to high for us. We are driving the Worlds Fastest and Best handling sports truck:rock:

well aware that you guys have awesome horsepower and nothing seems too high. ive been in one and i was in awe with the power and handling ( this was before my truck. which cant handle worth shit ). i got a friend with a x-runner tacoma which i believe is the best handling truck in the world stock( think it pulls like 0.9 gs stock but dont quote me on it) and it embarrassed my truck in the corners. ive ran a 12.8 in the quarter but get a wicked launch with my 4wd and 3000 stall. id love to take it to 11's but it will cost me as it would anyone. haha

Welcome to the site....and thank you for being a First Responder....saving people is much better than what I do.

i will post some pics in about a month when i get some new wheels on the truck. i have the 6.0 ho in the truck and magnacharged it. that and the other bolt ons took most of my money last year. i will be putting on rims in February and a few more things after that. ive put all the money in the engine and literally have 100 hp sitting in my garage in a cam and meth. time for the outside now. ive got priorities and the engine was first. if you want to see it look at any other half ton chev extended cap 4x4 thats silver. thats how it looks right now. i cant wait for bigger tires and rims cause damn i get no traction on these tires unless im 4x4. haha

Glad to have you in our wonderful little forum, I carry a chain in my truck because my neighbor has a chevy.

On topic, welcome Sirk! I was going to ask what size of motor you have. How is your transmission holding up? Where about in Canada are you?

Welcome Bud!

Get some pics of that Magnacharger for us!:burnout:

Welcome, In the 60's if you wanted to go fast you got a Chevy. Through the years things change. No bout a doubt it, these big trucks are fast. You turn in the twelves is fast on the street. Faster then my NR. Cool.
Just some old advice. You need torque for the heavy weights. HP for the light weights. Put more torque into your truck then hp until you are thinking about the 10's. Then start to make it lighter. Fast-es way to lower et is ----------- I hate to give this secret away, lighten the load. bobbymac AKA therambler
PS. I think I am going to gut my NR, starting now!

Welcome to the site Sirk...Enjoy your stay here...The HP ### on your truck
are pretty impressive also...Can't wait to see some pics...
