He needs to rev it up and down to atleast 6k RPM a whole bunch of times so we can help diagnose the problem(S)
LMFAO "Don't be a vag!". Thanks Brad, I'm wiping my pop off my dash and steering wheel now! LMAO:laugh::laugh::laugh:
i can't appropriately respond to this, since you posted this in the media section beef curtain:drool:
I'm guessing he got it fixed :dontknow: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJHk8YHKliE&feature=player_profilepage"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJHk8YHKliE&feature=player_profilepage[/ame] I went through the same thing with a friends Mustang a few years ago. The timing chains wore through the guides, then wore all the way through the tensioners.
Yep, I went through two engines in my Lightning (in 25000 miles)... same noise. Never raced it either. Luckily, they were both replaced under warranty. On the 3rd engine, I said F*CK IT!!!! I put every bolt-on I could find on it. Had it at about 504RWHP. Damn thing ran like a top. 15,000 HARD miles on that engine when I sold it. :dontknow:
Worked on it for 16 hours on Friday and got it fixed. It only cost me around $200 and I was able to do it myself. Thanks for all the well wishes. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5XOSU5sw3YQ]It's alive - YouTube[/ame]
