Yesterday, I was playing around/learning my new 06 RC and noticed the lamp for the center console lower storage bin didn't work. OK, figured it was a defective lamp, pulled it, checked to see if it burnt out -- nope -- checked continuity -- OK, bulb good. This morning, I did a little more troubleshooting. I felt around the lamp socket (trying to figure out how to remove it) and discovered there was no wiring connector/wiring attached to the housing WTF?? :dontknow: Off to the service manual to see if Chrysler included the wiring harness pigtail for this lamp and of course couldn't find anything in the manual. Back to the truck and looked around some more and found the wiring pigtail tucked down in between the storage console and front console sections. Disassembled the console and attached the wiring -- let there be light

The window sticker for my truck had the price at $52K -- you would think the factory and all the QC inspectors, including the selling dealer's PDI folks would have caught this and fixed it before your's truly bought the truck. But there I go thinking again.
