ok ive now got a jeep SRT-8 and im shopping for cia and i dont wanna spend 400-500 dollars for one, im looking at a Air Raid any word on these or were i can buy one for alot cheaper than 300?? the one im looking at is 204. can anyone do better?

JMB has the best intakes....otherwise used ones come up for quite often and that would be your least expensive unit.

I cant find the 204 number mike? is there a complete number? I only come up with a different number for air raid?

stinker the 204 was how much the "air raid" cost...but ive heard the "afe r very good systems too....and thats for the SRT-8 jeep rite.

Get the AFE...I had 5 different CAIs on my SRT8 and none sounded or performed like the AFE..............and get the dry filter option...no oil..

Tony, Didn't AFE make the Mopar CAI? I have been trying to research who actually makes the Mopar and the most I can find are a few hints and maybe's....

Does anyone know the real scoop????

Thanks anyway, I am sure someone here knows. I have search about every CAI Mfg and can not find a single one that resembles the Mopar.

I find it hard to believe that Mopar actually developed it and kept the Mfg "In House". Just like the other performance parts, someone else helped in the development for the right to Mfg the final parts...

If AFE did make the Mopar they made it completely different...the Mopar has a metal tube vs plastic for the AFE and a smaller filter..:dontknow: :dontknow:

someone def done it, I havent seen dodge do anything in house
