First, I will start off saying I am not a tall guy. My truck is stock height (for the time being)
My problem is when I wash the truck, I cant get to the middle of the bed cover or the middle back window. I can get the roof by opening the door and standing up into the truck. I have seen the brushes on a pole and things like that, but then how do you dry it off?
I know I cant be the only one that has been in this spot. How is everyone cleaning the truck?

maybe a stepstool
I thought of that, but thats just asking for a reason for the neighbors to give me a hard time. Also by the time the one I have is close enough, its up against the side of the truck, so thats not gonna happen. Might have to go look at getting another stepstool without that stupid saftey bar that sticks up.

If your that damn short how do you shift it?

Shifting isn't a problem, getting into the truck is a little. And NO i'm not gonna put running boards on the truck.
I'm to use to sports cars. Easy to clean, easy to get in and out of.

Use a leaf blower to dry it off. That is what some people do and it saves time.

I use small children's step stools. They are plastic and add about 8 inches. I also use a brush to get the middle of the bed cover and window. I use the mister clean auto-dry. It dries spot free. Another option for drying is to use a leaf blower.

LOL I'm 5'4". I have a step ladder bungy corded in the bed of my truck:D People look at me weird at the carwash, but I don't care.... They're washing their Kia:dontknow:

Great idea!!!

I'm 6'2"....I use a 3' step ladder to reach the cab top and middle of the bed cover....screw what the neighbors think....they are too busy drooling over the truck...

Doooood, just get one of the microfiber shammy's with the two foot handle on it.

Exactly, or take swifer or something like that and tie a shamy, microfiber towel, whatever to the end of it and reach the spots you can not get too.

I use a two step ladder, I guess 2-3 ft, and can reach over halfway on the roof and cover. Then go to the other side and finish off the job. I'm only 5'10".
I guess if you are really short and have stubby little arms then this could be a real issue. Then I could understand why the neighbors would view your truck washing as a spectacle to behold:) Otherwise, use the step ladder

Exactly what SLVRSNAKE does...2 step ladder no problem...Good luck with what works best for you...

leaf blower is the best way to go, no need to worry about scratching anything.
