After work today I want to clean my stock rims before they go back on the truck. The front as covered in brake dust. Whats the best way to clean the entire rim to make em look like new?? thanks
Luke

the Mothers power ball......god it works wonders

I normally take a degreaser and spray the rim down.. and wash it off then come back with a nice Metal or chrome polish and polish it twice and then wax it!

an also a little tip spray the front rims with a little baby oil and that break dust wipes right off

I just use a long handled brush from wal-mart----does great....

mine are clearcoated, even on the inside of the rim...i use super clean wheel cleaner(with a soft brush and a small sponge),but any cleaner thats safe for clearcoats will work fine.

I use Quick N Brite. It is biodegradable and non-hazardous. Spray it on, wipe it off. Works great, It's cheap and easy :D .

You can use anything approved for aluminum wheels, really... But, I just use hot soap and water. If you get those pesky little black "pits" on the inside of the wheel, I use a scotch-brite pad on that. It takes it right off and leaves a nice shine (just DON'T use it on the outside polished part of the wheel!). :)

any body else have the inside of there wheels clearcoated? :dontknow: was looking at another 04' and his weren't and they were all pitted
