clicking noise on start up....

when i start my truck up. there is a weird ticking or clicking noise in the dash. i noticed it a few days ago. it only lasted like 5seconds and couldnt get any idea of where it came from or it was even the truck. this morning it was really bad. it lasted like 15seconds. its like behind the radio in the dash. so i cant really see anything of course. let me know what u guys think.

Turn signals or emergency flashers are off,,,,fan off....radio off,,,,if it still does it, it may be a nervous clicking of your fingernails on the dash???? Other than that I have no Idea ..

does it do it after you start the engine or does it happen when you just turn the ignition to the on position?

It's the CD player, I would be willing to bet you have a CD in the radio. Mine started doing this about a month ago, not sure if there will cover it under warranty...

Ditto but mine only did it with a NAV disk. Traded for a flipout type, noise gone!

It's the CD player, I would be willing to bet you have a CD in the radio. Mine started doing this about a month ago, not sure if there will cover it under warranty...
