Close call tonight...

Had a real close call tonight on the way home from work.. some dipstick doing no less than 70 in a 45 blew a red light, as I was making a turn onto the road.... so I kicked the truck in as*, and ran up to around 80 or so.. just to get out of the morons way.... then he of course looked at me like I was in the wrong....

I was on Grand/60, and 107th Ave.. in all places a retirement town... its my turn on had "on ramp" type turn, so I was able to lay into it nicely and not lose traction... had it been a standard 90 degree turn, I would still been able to get out of his way... but would had the truck sideways doing it...

I would have done the single finger salute... but I was too busy driving at the time.. =)

Had that happen before too. Your just getting out of the way and they flip you the bird. Glad there was no damage to the truck. Gotta love power. Sometimes it can get you out of trouble.

Yeah.. it had my heart thumping a little bet.. but I tell you.. the sound of that motor when she is on boost... is oh soo cool... =)

I know right where that is, my mother in law lives at 115 ave off of grand.

I hate driving there because you have to go through Sun City damn old people out there. You shouldnt be driving past 80 old bastids!!
