...in a van, down by the river...
so......

i left my buddy's restaurant a bit ago, and i had a bit to drink....but it's really close to the house, so blah, blah....i was "fine"

so i figured i'd get gas, where i always do...and i pull in and there's a few cop cars in the lot, and i'm the only other car there....so i go ahead and act like it's any other normal fuel up....(so as not to draw attention) and they turn the pump on for me (since they know me by name)....

first off...i walk into this huge ass spider web as soon as i get out of the truck...so i look like an idiot getting out....and, of course, i didn't have any beer at the house...so i had to get some for me and the wife......two 12 pack in bottles don't look suspicious, right...

so i'm a bit on edge...cuz i'm like 2 mins. from the house....and here i am...just me and the fuzz.....

so i come out of paying, and put the brewski's in the truck and they ALL come over and want to freaking talk about the truck....WTF????????????

picture this....i'm about lit...i'm a half a mile from home....and here i am...surrounded by cops drilling me on "what all this truck has"...mag lights shining here and there...fkin hillbillies...poppin the hood....looking inside.....

HOLY SH!T!!!!!!!!!!!!......

i think i was this nervous about the time i lost my virginity............

but it's cool...i'm home now...

whew.....

crisis averted..............play it cool...they'll never know.....;) ;)
 
i can hit a golf ball from the restaurant to the house.........and it's 11pm........i could still sign the CC slip at the counter, too......:D

nana boo boo...:p

oh...and this would be the first....;)
 
I used to drink and drive all the time. Even had a few dui's . Your going to do what you want and i am not going to change your mind , but you don't have the right to take out a some ones family member because you want to drive home instead of walking or taking a cab. What ever you decide to do is your business but I would think about what you post . Some of us have lost people in DUI accidents.
 
ok...i should rephrase my post.........

i had 3 beers at his place and headed home......which, i think is under the limit....with food

it was more of a "i don't want to get into this" moment...

i too, have lost friends, good ones, at that, involving alcohol, and i am by no means making light of that.........

you would know if i would have had that many........plus the 3 from there.......

I know how ya felt....I was in Idaho 22 years ago and stopped to get gas...but I had more than a few...actually about a fifth...:eek: .....and locked myself out of the truck....Deputies are really cool in Idaho...:eek:
 
I wasn''t trying to preach or make you feel bad . You know your limits . I just misunderstood your first post. I used to have to where an eye patch when I drove so the lines didn't cross .Really!! It all changed when I had my son . Ill go out and have a few and drive home . I shouldn't but sometimes do.
 
Did ya hold your breath the whole time , and breathe through your nose.........did they like the truck ? dan the man got lucky , please dont tempt fate ............:argh: ......I have 7 on my record , gittin involved with the courts SUCKS......please be careful dan...........:rock: :D :D :D :rock:

man i was tryin.....i really didn't want to have to explain anything........

fury...it's all good....i didn't mean to misrepresent my own self here....since i'm home, and i told my wife....(as she snickered) it's all good....

i've never been ... in a situation like that before....

When i was 16 i had a deputy that lived between my house and my buddies. He used to pull me over all the time , make me poor out the boose and follow me home. One day I left a party smoking the tires. County pulled me over and I passed the field sobriety test ! I was way gone. Thought i was pulling on to a dirt road and pulled into some ones drive way:eek: . The nice deputy pulled up and said son your just a little far from home to let this one go. Same guy pulled me over 2 weeks later. I was on the turkey and when i got out of the car got a little woose Tried to prop against the car and rolled over in the ditch. He just said son i know you don't have a License what the hell are you doing ? Then he put me in his car and drove me home.

Whew , just don,t like seein any of my bros gittin in trouble , you enjoy the hell outta yourself dan , you work your ass off , and playtime is well needed......:rock: :burnout: :rock:
