I recently received a new clutch assembly with an aluminum flywheel free from a buddy of mine, but I'm missing the alignment tool.

Can someone point me where to go to get one, or does someone have one laying around that I can borrow?

Thanks in advance,
Matt

Hey bud, you can likely have better luck either going to a tranny shop and borrowing one for an LS1 T-56 and you will have to wrap a lil electrical tape to fit the pilot bearing tighter as the LS1 is a tad smaller but the spline count is the same. Your local Autozone or OReilys should have one as well. May come with a clutch kit though? Maybe the would let you borrow one as well.:dontknow:

I just installed my clutch without an alignment tool. The one I borrowed was to small at the pilot end so I just centered the disc by finger on the outside edges. Made it feel even all around then tightened it up. Tranny slide in pretty easy. Last 1/2" with the bolts of the bellhousing. I couldn't push it on to the dowels so I used the bolts!
