I have smelled my clutch a couple times and my wife really burned it at the track last weekend and my fluid is still at the top. I have never had to add fluid. Is this normal? Will it start using fluid when it starts going out?

nope sure will not, the fluid is closed in a system, from the master cylinder to the slave, has no where to go, if it does.............you probably have a small leak;)

Sooner or later you will go to the Centerforce Clutch w/ Viper slave and master cyl. Then burning clutches will be a smell of the past.
