...here are a few pictures of what I have done so far, looks like the slave was leaking bad to me and thats what was making the oil puddle under my truck. The bell housing is covered in fluid... The pressure plate has spider cracks all over it, that can't be normal right? The DIY section was priceless!!!

I aint in any better shape than you... not having a truck sucks, the fulid in this transmition is cooked again, no explantion as to why or how...???

Yes this truck was raced hard...

Yea it was the stock one #3 I think, this truck has had the same problem since the second day I had it, now I can fix it I hope. I am going to open up the tranny today hopfully....

...well I got the cluctch and master slave in, we came to the conclusion that the clutch could have caused the shifting issuses that I was having so i changed the fluid and stuck it back in as is. The clutch worked GREAT!!!!! The trans would not go into 4th gear... I parked the truck and pulled it again, when I opened it up my worst fears were realized AGAIN, bearings were melted, gears are chewed all to hell... basicly I think I have a really kewl new paper weight. I new that fixing it was out of my league to I brought it to six speed inc. Upon there inspection they informed me the tranny was bad due to a improper rebuild (brearings and seals were never changed) they can't get the blocker rings off, and the bearings are permantly afixed to the shafts (ALL OF THEM).

2300$ to rebuild it this time....

2100$ - for a clutch kit to be put in at a five star dealer (stock parts)
950$ - stock replacment parts for a tranny, installed by a five star dealer
1900$ - for DC clutch kit
2300$ - est for a rebuild this time around
200$ - Co pay at the E.R. for a broken thumb, and torn ligimates from tripping and falling trying to clean up after spilling fluid.

7,450$ for a truck with 17,000 miles... WTG DC!!!!

Dan at DC Performance has a tranny for sale, has 2nd gear issue, but might save ya some $$$$$

Why pray tell are you going back with oem parts?

You are not listening...and I should have anticipated that from the start...

Sorry about your problems.

You will have them again.

Sorry just being truthful.

Have Dan fix the six speed he has...buy it.

Put in a Centerforce dual friction clutch...put in a Viper Slave and master...those should come with a new throwout bearing...do it all yourself...after Dan has fixed the trans and given you assurances that he has fixed it. Two weeks and you are back up with no further issues of getting power from the engine to the drive shaft...just traction issues in the process...I bet the price will be 2/3rds of your current estimate at most.

The first time I put stock parts back in, "suspose" so save my warranty LOL. Now I am doing a full build, no oem parts exept the actual gears.

I just got off the phone with amber, and evidently there are EXTRA part in there, just stuck to the magnets.....
