Clutch problems? Help.

So when I'm in first gear and I slow down and push the clutch in, a lot is the time it makes this metal on metal sound like I'm ripping the clutch away from the gears... It does it coming out of second gear too... When it does this the shifting is a lot rougher, it makes the progression much worse until I stop. It seems to do this in the mornings most of the time, when I'm driving home from work it shifts normal. Am I losing my clutch?

Have you tried changing the clutch fluid yet?
