I am looking to buy the centerforce clutch and hydraulic package this month from jmb. I was wondering if the warranty I have will be void for any parts if I buy the aftermarket clutch and hydraulics.

Who is the warranty with? Dealer? --- I would say void ,Aftermarket? You would be ok. From my personal experience
The warranty is a factory extended through Chrysler. So if i do both then the trans warranty is gone. Is there anyway around that. I am extending it after I do the clutch if I state it in the contract would that work.
have a good talk with your dealer service manager, tell him what your planning on doing. some are pretty cool and will let it slide, i would think most car dealers right now would be looking for warranty work since they arent selling many cars. at least they would make money on the work. at least a smart one would.mgwarrior350 said:
Yea ill do that. I would just hate to have tranny problems and run into a warranty issue and have to pay out of pocket I have already had to do that twice with my other vehicles. Any recommendations on good dealers in the lower ny that would be good to go through. Also I am planning on having tators do the install.
I would guess your tranny warranty should be OK as long as the clutch wasn't deemed the root cause of the transmission failure and the dealer has to prove this before they void or disallow a claim for the transmission. I would talk with your dealer and get their thoughts on aftermarket parts and warranty "policy".

Talk to chuck tator at the old tator dodge. He is no longer a dealership but may have some info for you and point you in the right direction

When I did my upgrade a few years back I had the dealership do the install after making sure it wouldn't void my warranty. Mine is also an extended warranty but through a third party. Personally? I think mine would be voided anyway with the stuff I had "did." But I'm good with that.. I'm good.
