very freakin cool man.. congrats.. hope it doesnt rain for you this weekend

Today was beautiful.

I had to take my mom back home (Portland Oregon) this morning and when I got back home I wiped down the Cobra and the wife and I went up to LaConnor for lunch. It's about 80 miles or so away. Had a great drive.

God, I love this car.

very nice john. is that your daily driver thunderbird in the back?:D

that is a nice ride. better watch the side pipes. i imagine they would leave a hell of a burn. with those carbs, your gas mileage should be about the same as the truck.:D

very good choice though.

Nope, the T-Bird belongs to the neighbor.

My daily driver now is a 1998 Escort ZX2. Oh well, it gets me there.

The Cobra today got close to 20MPH on the freeway. In 5th it's just loafing along at 2000RPM at 70MPH.

I love those little rollers. Used them up in Maine a lot!

Thank you.

Yeah, the rollers are great for moving it around. Well worth every penny.

Very nice old man. If you ever decide to put progress carb linkage on the twin 4BL, Edlebrock makes a great linkage kit. With his kit, you can drive around on one 4BL, but when you stomp on it, (fully adjustable) both open up. Just something to keep in the back of your mind. Have fun with your new toy.

Thanks for the tip. Right now it seems to work really well. The secondaries are vacuum on both carbs and are so smooth you really do not notice them opening.
