thats the new gen iv I think, I know fstjack has looked forever for an upgrade and has come up with nothing, I think on his red truck they moved the coil packs to the rear of the intake

Do a search for coil on plug and coil near plug. It will bring up a return on Viper Alley. i am not sure of the application though. It may be just like Tony said.

I saw a pic of a Viper that had the coils moved to the inner fender well on each side of the engine.

Bill.

plug wires must have been three foot each then lol,,,im thinking i will try a firewall mount of some kind

Doesn't this use 1 4 cylinder pack and one 6 cylinder pack off the chrysler parts rack........

Maybe a SRT4 and a 300c 6cyl pack would work?

Yes it is.

This is what I am looking into....Thanks to includemeout for the pic...

Look at the new Viper Engine, the coils are not under the intake, maybe some of that setup will work( the coils are on top the valve covers with a cover over them)

Do NOT buy an aftermarket SRT4 coil, I promise you they all suck. The stock coils are more than sufficient for 99.9% of the applications out there. We have made 600WHP on a stock srt4 coil with no issues and tons of viper engines are making well over 1000WHP on stock coils.

Unless you go to a Motec or similar standalone, but there arent many out there with something like that.

I replaced that junk MSD on my srt-4 in 2 months after I bought it. Went back to stock.
