What I was amazed with was the fact that they held these hostages for 5 years and we never really heard about it. They should have been front page news the entire time they were held, and they shouldn't have been held nearly that long. That shit shouldn't happen to our citizens, our government shouldn't let it. Not a day should have gone by without us killing as many of those FARC bastards as we could find.
