PM Outnumbered. I think he took his off and took them to a body shop and had them smoothed and painted. They look great.

i took my 05 red QC to the body shop to smoothe and paint. makes the truck look 1,000% better!

What kind of $$$$ you looking at to have that done? Been thinking about
getting mine painted.

I purchased factory replacement door and tailgate handles, had them painted, and put them on myself. Total cost was about $450.00 I am keeping the originals in case I want to put it back to stock someday.

Hot looking truck,Broke. I have had some trouble matching the inferno red in the past though. How hard were they to swap out?

I spent around $150 for all 5 handles. I sanded them myself and then had a body shop coat them really good with primer and then base and clear.

Ron did you use your billet units or the oem ones??

Nice looking truck those handles make it stand out.

The install was fairly straight forward. On the tail gate, remove the inside cover and you can access the tailgate latch. On the doors, you have to remove the inside door panels. If I remember correctly, two screws on bottom of door, bezel around inside latch handle, and screw on the top. Also, remove the door lock knob. The passenger side was simple. The drivers side was a slight pain. It has two acuating arms, one for the key and one for the key fob. If I had small hands, it wouldn't have been as bad. Once you look on the inside, you can see how the original handles attach. Thanks everyone for the compliments on my truck.

Sold the billets, painted the stockers. In my opinion, you would not want to spend $600+ on billets and turn around and paint them. Once the texture is sanded out, the stockers look fine.

You got a point mang!!! Any sides shots with good view of the handles?? I'm considering doin this...tia
