OK guys I am selling my R/C truck and just installed 4:88 gears along with a new case with cryo treated and polished spider gears. At the same time everything in the posi was rebuilt with all new bearings, clutches etc, etc.
To do this conversion you will have over $1,200 in parts and labor. Parts alone from Unitrax were $727.
Here is the deal - if you are looking for this setup, and live close enough to Indianapolis, bring your truck to my shop and we can just swap complete rear axles. It should only take a couple of hours to complete the swap and you can even drive them before we do the swap to make sure you like them!
Cost to you $550. plus your help swapping axles.
The swap would have to be done between October 28th & November 6th.
